Released September, 2008
The Pros:Good integration with Microsoft Windows Live Messenger. Small and easily transportable - great for laptop use. High quality camera and microphone.
The Cons:Special button feature is useless for those that don't use Windows Live Messenger. A little costly in comparison to the professional model or even miniature laptop systems with a similar quality webcam and embedded microphone.

With interchangeable colour faceplates, the miniature VX-5500 features a 1.3 megapixel camera, a unidirectional microphone with noise and echo cancelling, pan, tilt and zoom functionality, and small clips which can be used to mount the webcam to flat LCD screens, notebooks or as a stand directly on your desk.
