The Micro Innovations IC445C is an entry-level webcam designed for in-home use, but it can also be used during travel. While similar in features and design to Micro Innovations’ IC435C, this webcam differentiates itself by offering a built-in microphone, full 640 x 480 video resolution provided by a higher quality camera lens at 300 kilopixels.

Additional features include support for video instant messaging, a snapshot button for still digital photos and an email photos and video function for quickly and easy sharing. Also included, is a desktop stand and notebook monitor clip. The image quality of the IC445C is functional, but not as good as most higher-end webcams. Owners of this webcam have found that having a generous amount of natural light helps to get the most out of this product. The IC445C connects to Windows 2000/XP/Vista PCs via USB.
