The Hercules Dualpix Chat and Show is a basic webcam for general purpose use. This is similar to the Hercules Dualpix Emotion but doesn't have an auto-focus function, opting instead for a general wide-angle focus setup.

Otherwise they share most of the same basic features, with the capacity to create a 5 megapixel resolution still photo and capture video in 1280x1024 resolution at up to 30 frames per second. While a microphone is embedded in the webcam itself, a headset with microphone is also included. The attachment system allows for mounting on all screen types, and the camera can be rotated a full 360°. Controller software allows for live effects to be applied to streaming video, and Hercules Webcam Station Evolution SE software enables users to convert video into a variety of formats for use with various devices and online services.
