Hercules Classic Webcam

The Hercules Classic Webcam is a low-cost webcam for use with the Windows operating system. It is similar in design to the Hercules Classic Silver, but the sensor and software have been adjusted to allow a 1280x960 resolution video capture at a stable 30 fps rate.

The base has also been modified to claw onto a flatscreen or sit on a weighted base on a desktop. Arcsoft software for expanded image capture features and file processing is also included. Apart from these changes the basic design remains the same, with a 1.3 megapixel still photo capture and 4 lighting diodes to make it possible to shoot clips in darkened rooms.
