The Creative Live! Cam Socialize HD 1080 is a high-definition webcam that can record in full 1080p quality. The software works as an integrated uploader to YouTube and Facebook with one click, or it can be used for some basic video editing that combines still pictures and music.
For smoother video chats a 720p mode is available that saves bandwidth, and is fully compatible with Windows Live Messenger and Skype. The camera automatically adjusts the focus to prevent fuzzy video and ensure that everything is crisp and sharp. Dual stereo microphones are used for a clear and rich sounding audio. The included Live! Scan software can scan documents and extract details into text files, with export options to Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Lotus Notes or a VCard.
